What to Expect at Your First Appointment

Before you even arrive, we want to make things as easy as possible! Our team will handle your insurance verification to eliminate any surprises and ensure your coverage aligns with your planned treatment. We’ll also process your new patient forms online to save you time and allow you to be more present during your appointment.

A Space of Relaxation

As soon as you enter our doors, you'll be welcomed by the refreshing scent of mint, and our friendly front desk team will greet you with a warm smile. We understand that visiting the dentist can cause some nervousness, and our aim is to put you at ease right from the start. Our waiting room is designed to soothe your nerves and be a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere for you to be before your consultation. We offer complimentary beverages to help you relax. If you're bringing your little ones, we have a dedicated space filled with engaging activities to keep them entertained.

In the Examination Room

Your appointment will start with a comprehensive exam. This includes a 3D scan which gives us a highly-detailed picture of your jawbone and teeth. We also perform gum charting to assess any gum health concerns. A full head and neck exam and oral cancer screening are also part of the process.

Dr. Tracy Kirk will then take a look at your teeth and gums, which includes taking intraoral pictures to give both you and our team a close-up look. These help us create a personalized treatment plan specific for for your dental needs.

Transparency and Communication

Throughout the exam, Dr. Tracy Kirk will explain her findings in a way that is easily understood, and she will any questions you may have. She believes in open communication and wants you to feel fully informed about your dental health!
